summer vacation 4th grade+activity book

(2 days and 1 night at ewha womans university) this is a surprise lecture. i love this kind of thing. (they had time to reflect as they prepared) on highways, your destination is clear... but when you take a detour, you get to see unexpected scenery. i regretted not going the uphills and downhills. i think you can do whatever you want at your age.

an optimist builds an aeroplane while a pessimist makes a parachute. (the night comes but the lecture isn't over) let me introduce the fourth lecturer. (they passionately welcome him) (getting up) (joonyoung is the person they're cheering for) (welcome) hey.

hello! i've been thinking about what to lecture on. i was going to tell you about the life i led or good advice i can give you about life. but i realized that won't be possible. that's how i came up with this title. (the third lecture) ("am i a bad boy?" by joonyoung) do you think i look like a bad boy?

- no! / - no! - yes! / - right? who said yes? i guess you have mixed opinions. when you think of a nice guy, you think of an affectionate man. - an affectionate man. / - cha taehyun! cha taehyun. (taehyun is happy)

(we love cha taehyun!) donggu also appears to be a nice guy. (he may be the nicest guy in korea) (i agree) this is it. (are we bad?) when i say nice guy and bad boy... i'm referring to dating. it's about dating.

to make it more interesting... i would like to share my own love story. (joonyoung's love story will be revealed!) what kind of boyfriend is a bad boy? you'd think they'd have a lot of women, right? they might text you late at night. "what are you doing?" "sleeping?" "yo, what's up?" i'm not talking about myself. (we know)

i thought i was a very selfish person. it was important to me that i was happy and the people around me were happy with me. i believe in happiness. in texting my girlfriend... i got annoyed when she didn't text me back quickly. i also got annoyed when she went home too late. you could think i'm more conservative than you imagined.

even when she met her male friends too often, i became really jealous. when she was too tired to text me with affection, it affected me so much that i couldn't do anything. you know how that feels, right? i'm not in the position to hold hands in public... or be affectionate in cinemas. as a celebrity,

the places where we can date are limited. i didn't mind... but the girl felt too much pressure. we spent time like that... until we broke up. (they eventually broke up) do you love me? (they were once passionately in love...) how can love change?

(but the love went away) (after the break up) i started to regret it. time passed and i dated other girls... but my attitude stayed the same. i eventually told myself that i shouldn't date. i shouldn't date. i was worried that i would hurt the girl i date.

i was also worried i would regret it and feel sorry again. after i date a girl and break up later. it would repeat itself. (a star is always concerned about their reputation) (love was difficult for him) then, i asked myself how i can overcome this loneliness. after that...

(the solution he came up with...) i could focus more on music. i could focus more on my work. based on all the experience, i could compose songs. by turning my own experience into music, i could be more passionate about my career. (i could be more passionate about my career) (that's great) they have so many questions.

(me, me) when do you think about your ex-girlfriend the most? (he seems flustered by the memories) well... (he can't seem to answer) (so serious) i thought about her during the lecture. (oh, no) i think of her when i listen to the songs

i wrote about her. (you're such a lover) do you want to listen to the song? yes! ("sympathy" by jung joonyoung) (he calmly sings his autobiographical song) (just like that, she left) (just like that, we parted ways) (he expresses how sorry he was through his song)

(he didn't want to hurt the woman he loved) (his love was selfish, thinking only about his feelings) (they're all connected by his love story) (their hearts are crying) (they empathize with him) (incredible) the game's over for the remaining two. - gosh. / - isn't singing cheating? next up is junho.

(the fifth lecturer is junho) (they cheer in excitement) (junho starts singing right away to gain attention) (his trick worked!) i tried singing because joonyoung did. nice to meet you. i'm... you're a baby fairy! - a baby fairy? / - i'm the baby fairy junho. (a baby fairy?)

i'm the baby fairy junho. it's nice to see you. hi. today's topic is... if you get nervous, you lose. but if you get excited, you win. that's my topic. ("nervous leads to loss, excitement leads to gain") as i was listening to the other four, i had to decide on whether to make this a funny lecture

or a serious lecture. i was so divided. i ended up getting nervous. what i was going to talk about is the same thing i tell many junior comedians. those who are prepared to step on stage through practice are excited. while those who aren't ready get nervous. that's why i always tell them to play a winning game. i was on the first episode of "gag concert"

at the age of 26. "gag concert" has always been my dream, in my late twenties, my early thirties and even in my early forties. the show has been running for 860 episodes... my dream is to be on the 1,000th episode. thank you. do you know... why "gag concert" is my dream?

being on "gag concert" makes my heart pound. i look forward to making people laugh on stage. i'm always excited before i go on stage. i feel lucky to have found something that excites me from the age of 26. i love my job for that. (first appearance on "gag concert" in 1999) why do young people have no manners these days? he has no manners.

it was right up that hill, wasn't it? just go! this isn't a sleeve for pears. these aren't jelly shoes or pear sleeves. it's right there. ♪ sitting, standing, sleeping, sleep ♪ i feel my mouth has twisted to one side. then i'll slap you on this side too. - s! / - show me the money!

show me the money! now i'll answer your questions. gosh. alright. okay. go ahead. before i ask you this question, i want to let you know that i'm excited, not nervous. (you're the best!) my dream is to become a comedian just like you.

(go for it!) (you can do it) (after encouraging her, he makes a joke) to young aspiring comedians who want to become just like you, can you offer some words of advice? if you want to become a comedian in the future, you should take note of my lecture today. get nervous, you lose, get excited, you win.

for almost 20 years, i have always been excited every time i stood up on stage as a comedian. this field is about self-improving constantly. the same applies to musicians as well. if you're nervous, you'll probably ruin your audition and you won't get a call back. remember this. thought become actions, actions become habits,

habits shape your personality and that becomes your fate. (impressive!) that's why... it's important to put your thoughts into actions. auditions for comedians will start shortly. apply for that. keep challenging yourself. i failed 4 times but i'm here now so you can do it too.

(head towards your dreams!) you were all excited at the beginning... but now i can see that you're already bored. (did you think the lecture was over?) to make it exciting again... i challenge you to a game of rock, paper, scissors. the winner will win a chance to hug donggu. (that was unexpected) - hang on a second. / - i bet you're excited again.

junho. - hold on. / - why? you're supposed to give a lecture, not play a game. - please sit down. / - gosh. - sit down. / - what do you think you're doing? (we don't mind) anyway, donggu will be the prize. (the goal is to beat donggu!) if you lose or draw, please put your hand down.

let's beat donggu, rock, paper, scissors. (the game starts without donggu's consent) rock, paper, scissors. paper wins. (happy) (sad) (after a few more games) (and a few more games) please come on up.

we have two winners. come up on stage. (now only two remain) what do you want from donggu if you win? i'd like a hug and his autograph. a hug and his autograph. how about you? i'd like a hug and a photo with him. if you don't play, you lose. rock, paper, scissors. (she wins) nice!

(she flaunts her joy) congratulations. (donggu also hugs the girl who lost) (it's her lucky day) (oh, my!) (thanks to donggu, junho gains popularity) (junho ends his lecture on a high note) now, it's time for the lecturer you've been waiting for. cha taehyun!

hello, everyone. nice to meet you. i'm cha taehyun. last year, we went to seoul national university. ewha womans university is the second school of our university tour. when we went to seoul national university, i wished suchan could go there someday. that's what i thought when we were filming there. now that i'm here...

my wish is for my daughters to come here. i really mean it. your school is amazing and i envy you because you get to experience the excellent environment that the school provides. i see myself as a good listener. i'm like that as an actor too. what can i say to help these students? tell me what's on your mind.

i'll listen and try to offer some advice. ("live life like..." by cha taehyun) is there anything you wish to ask? - she seems serious. / - you have crutches. very nice. something has been on my mind lately. - okay. / - i've lost interest in life. nothing seems to be fun anymore. i thought about why this happened

and it's been lowering my self-esteem. you probably... all know this. but my recent movie was a huge failure. my self-esteem is rock bottom right now. - so... / - i'm sorry. you don't have to comfort me. don't worry. it's okay. everyone goes through that phase.

it's not just you. but we overcome it as we live life. don't think less of yourself about having low self-esteem. your family will be ruined at this rate. it's understandable though. how can a family be stable when the country is in chaos? that would be unnatural.

(all of that experience made him a solid actor) the title of my lecture today... "live life like..." i wanted you to fill in the blank with your names. live life like yunji. that's what i hope for you... (no need to compare yourself to others) if you live life like yourself... that's the best way, i think. (you can do it!)

who's next? taehyun, you're known as a devoted husband. i'm not that old but i've learned how difficult it is to stay in love with just one person. i'm curious as to how you were able to stay in love with your high school sweetheart. i think the fact that i married by sweetheart has been overly romanticized.

try to date many people... if you can. since i couldn't do that. i don't know how it feels because i haven't experienced it. i just lived my life as who i am. i don't think that is important. - my life just turned out that way. / - turned out... i was happy when i got married. i was 31 years old when i got married.

for a celebrity, that was quite young. we promised to get married when i turned 30 but my mind became fickle. i wanted to get married after i became more popular. i wanted one more film to be a hit first but it didn't work out. my wife wasn't happy at all about pushing it a year. she even said... she'd call it all off.

we broke up but got back together again. the films i starred in after marriage became a hit. "scandal makers" is one of them. i think nothing really turns out how you plan for them to go. just do your best... then a good opportunity will come along. did you break up with your boyfriend? it's okay. you will meet someone else.

- cheer up. / - don't worry. (just be yourself and live your life) (you are most beautiful when you are yourself) there are a lot of fish in the sea. - it is true. / - there are a lot of men. don't be disappointed. the person in the back. i thought a lot about my final goal in life.

i wonder what your final goal is, living as cha taehyun. my goal? my final goal in life is simple. i just want to be an actor until the day i die. that's it. i want you to have a more detailed dream. be more specific. when i was in 12th grade, my dreams were becoming a program director,

then a singer and then an actor. my dream was to become a movie director, produce my own film, be the main actor and sing the ost. then all three dreams would be realized in one go. that was my dream back in high school. no. 50, cha taehyun. (he became a star with the movie, "my sassy girl") (he also sang an ost)
